Test specifications

Card tests (immunochromatographic) are by their definition rapid screening tests and in case of positivity they must always be reconfirmed with a different method. The analysis samples can be of different types among: serum, urine, faeces, water, CFS (cerebrospinal fluid) according to the type of test.

Maximum reliability possible

These tests represent a fast and simple solution for the qualitative identification of both toxins and viral or bacterial antigens.

Our rapid tests consist of a single step and are based on the lateral flow immunochromatographic method, in which specific antibodies to an antigen are bound to colored latex particles. Other antibodies specific for the pathogen are tightly bound to the membrane. Alternatively systems based on biotin-labeled or gold particles may be used.

The products of the rapid test line are mainly dedicated to the analysis of serum or faecal samples. All texts with side flow are CE marked.
